Herkimer loses in final minute to Hudson 73-71

Herkimer, N.Y. - It came down to the final minute in order for Hudson Valley to knock off Herkimer at home.  Herkimer and Hudson went back and forth scoring in the final minute but ultimately Hudson would win the battle in the finals seconds of the game.  Maria Lomanto (Amsterdam, NY) had a good day for Herkimer.  The freshman scored 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in the game.  Lomanto was perfect from the free throw line (4-4) and near perfect from three point range (5-6).  Leading scorer Sierra Henry (Newfield, NY) knocked down 24 points in the game in which 12 of them were from beyond the 3 point line (4-14).    

Herkimer's record is now 1-3 overall (1-2).  Their next game will be home on Wednesday November 14th at 5 pm against Tompkins-Cortland CC.
