Current students, take advantage of Early Registration

The weather is warming up, which means spring semester is nearly over — and it’s time for students to begin thinking about Fall 2021. Currently enrolled Herkimer College students planning to continue in the fall should take advantage of our early registration period, which lets them get first-pick at classes over incoming students.

Not only does registering early cross one more thing off their End-of-Semester To-Do List, but it can help set them up for success by allowing them to sign up for their preferred class times, customize their class schedule to their liking, and ensure they get a seat in the courses they need to graduate.

Don’t forget! Early registration begins Monday, April 12.

Are you a student who needs help learning how to register for courses on your own? The Advisement Center will be holding several online workshops to walk students through the process:

· Monday, April 5 | 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

· Tuesday, April 6 | 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

· Thursday, April 8 | 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.

· Friday, April 9 | 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

· Monday, April 12 | 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

· Monday, April 12 | 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

· Wednesday, April 14 | 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Oh, and one more thing: Students who register early will be automatically enrolled in a giveaway drawing. The College will be awarding $50 gift cards to the Bookstore to three lucky students. These can be used to buy school supplies, textbooks, or some new Herkimer College gear — plus much more!
