Friday - Drawing of "What the Campus is Reading" contest. Visit the link to enter to win, or stop by the library to see the display and cast your vote.
Herkimer College is also celebrating April as School Library Month with a special book club event: A Conversation on Health Equity.
Students are invited to join faculty and staff for a discussion on “What the Eyes Don’t See: A Story of Crisis, Resistance, and Hope in an American City,” by Mona Hanna-Attisha and participate in a discussion, April 25, on current global issues regarding health equity.
To participate, students, faculty, and staff can sign up at the library circulation desk and receive a free copy of the book. There are a limited number of books available which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The Library can also help participants locate other options to read the book.
The book discussion, A Conversation on Health Equity, will be held 1:25-2:25 p.m. on April 25
in Rooms 282/283 in the Robert McLaughlin College Center. To attend virtually, participants can email Professor Jennifer Herzog at herzogja@herkimer.edu.
Herkimer College’s National Libraries Week: A Conversation on Health Equity is sponsored by the Herkimer County College Foundation, the Herkimer College Library, and the Herkimer College Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
