On Campus Mask Mandate

As you are probably aware, yesterday Governor Hochul announced the lifting of the indoor mask mandate for businesses starting today.

This morning, Interim SUNY Chancellor Stanley met with the college presidents to discuss Governor Hochul’s mask mandate update as it relates to SUNY. At this time, SUNY campuses will continue to abide by the mask mandate until further notice. SUNY will be providing further guidance with metrics to identify when mask mandates can be lifted on individual campuses. While we await this further guidance, the current mask mandate remains in effect for the Herkimer College campus. We will notify you if and when changes are made to the face covering policy for our campus.
