This course is designed primarily for the student enrolled in the LAS: Science program who intends to transfer upon graduation. This course serves as the continuation of an introduction to the study of college-level biology covering the the principles of evolution, the classification and diversity of life, plant and animal structure and function and the interrelationships between organisms and the environment. Prerequisite: SC 155. Students may not receive credit for both this course and SC 142. NOTE: Offered spring semesters only.
