Dr. Faye Eichholzer

For her contributions as an outstanding educator, leader, and communicator.

As an English instructor, Dr. Eichholzer excelled in the classroom and quickly rose through the faculty ranks, later joining the administration. Among her accomplishments were the creation of NETWORK, a support group for returning adult students; establishment of the campus child care center; and development of the “Writing Across the Curriculum” program. A defining feature of her career was promoting women's issues, reflected in her Women in Literature course as well as her numerous awards, scholarly articles, and presentations at national conferences. Dr. Eichholzer embodies the highest levels of excellence in teaching and leadership and has been a source of motivation for students and faculty.
