This course is designed to develop the skills necessary to research and develop a visual idea. Visual elements, design principles and color theory are emphasized. Theoretical, critical, and historical issues of art making are addressed through group critiques and visual presentations of both historical and contemporary artwork. This course meets the General Education requirement for The Arts.
