Intro to Graphics and Design

This course provides the principles of graphic design using vector-based drawing and bitmap image editing software. Students will analyze the production and consumption of visual information and explore the role of images in the communication process. Students will create original digital art, with an emphasis on the creative process and how technology, just as traditional mediums, can be used to generate aesthetically pleasing graphic art.
