At HCCC, we understand that students come from all different backgrounds and journeys, but if you are interested in furthering your education, we are here to help!

If you have not earned a high school diploma or GED, you may enroll through the NYS High School Equivalency Diploma pathway.

In this program, you will take the Ability to Benefit^* test and then complete 24 credits that count towards your chosen college major to earn your High School Equivalency Diploma.

Eligible candidates must:

• Currently reside in New York State (for at least 30 days)
• Not be a high school graduate
• Have reached maximum compulsory school age
• Students will receive ongoing support from a dedicated academic advisor along the way to ensure success in earning both a high school equivalency diploma and a college degree!
