Mohawk native Leigh Keno earned an A.A. degree from Herkimer College with a Museum Assistant emphasis, and holds a B.A. degree in the History Of Art from Hamilton College. A former director of the American Furniture department at William Doyle Galleries, he owns and operates a major gallery in Manhattan, dealing in fine 18th and early 19th century American furniture and decorative arts. Keno also served as Vice President of Christie’s Appraisal Company.
A published author in the field of antiques, Keno lectures extensively throughout the country and is active in several professional organizations. Along with his brother Leslie, he has gained a great deal of recognition as a regular participant on the popular PBS television series Antiques Roadshow.
