Architecture/Construction
Herkimer native Randy Collins graduated from Herkimer College with an A.A.S. degree in Construction Technology, then earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Utica College of Syracuse University. Collins is a founding principal of Collins and Scoville Architects, P.C. in Albany. Collins served as principal architect for Herkimer College’s Technology Center, and has headed many other projects throughout the region, including recent additions and renovations to Herkimer Elementary School and High School.
Collins holds leadership positions in key community and regional organizations, and is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association. He has taken an active leadership role in alumni affairs and Foundation programming for several years at Herkimer College, and is credited with initiating the College Foundation’s annual benefit golf tournament, which has generated funds to support student scholarships at Herkimer College.
