Herkimer Swimming and Diving opens second semester at Erie CC

Buffalo, NY -  The Herkimer Women's Swimming and Diving team opened the 2019 portion of their schedule with a meet at the Erie Community College long course (50 M) on Saturday afternoon Jan 13. Swimmers Amanda Mascia and Hong Dang took part in the event.

Coach Vicki Brown stated "This was a 50 meter long course meet for which we don’t train for so, the meet was more about the experience, enhancing our winter training and having fun. It’s also a great opportunity for my swimmers to compete against some 4 year schools. Times are actually “slower” because 50 meters is longer than 50 yards so it may appear that we didn’t do well when, in fact, we did extremely well"

The Generals will next hit the pool on Saturday, January 26 as they travel to Alfred State for a 1:00 meet.
