Adams and DeBeatham earn All Conference Honors in Women's Basketball

Herkimer, NY – The Mountain Valley Conference recently named Herkimer College Women’s Basketball players Myjoi Adams and Alexandria DeBeatham to the Second Team All-Conference for the 2018-2019 season. Herkimer finished their season with a berth in 2019 Region III Tournament before losing to # 1 Onondaga in a Regional Quarterfinal Game.

Adams, a sophomore guard from Pomona, California, (pictured above) averaged 11.9 points on the season as well as 6 rebounds and 2 steals per game. She scored a career high of 28 points on November 18 against Finger Lakes CC and added 25 points in a January matchup with Hudson Valley.

DeBeatham, a freshman guard from Albany, NY, started every game for the Generals this year. She averaged 11.1 points per game to go along with 3.5 rebounds and nearly 3 steals a game. She notched her season high in points with 21 in a win against Tompkins-Cortland on November 13.
