# 4 Generals win Coliseum Soccer Club Classic Kickoff Game
Herkimer, NY – Preseason #4 nationally ranked Herkimer opened the first game of the Coliseum Soccer Club Classic with a 4-0 win over visiting SUNY Broome. Sophomore forward Shemar Blair (Brampton, Ontario) scored the first goal of the game in the 3rd minute off an assist from sophomore winger Riley Urie (West Glover, Vermont). Sophomore Ryheim Hinds (Bridgeport, Connecticut) scored the second goal in the 28th minute from an assist from freshman Yohan Kim (Seoul, South Korea). Hinds headed in Kim’s far post service for the corner kick goal. That gave the Generals a 2-0 halftime lead
In the second half, Sophomore Jaahdel Cyril (Bridgeport, Connecticut) scored the final two goals of the game. Cyril scored the third goal of the game in the 79th minute off of a rebound shot from Blair. Blair took on two defenders and hit a shot to the far post being saved by Hornets goalkeeper Adam Burns. Cyril scored off the rebound. Cyril scored the last goal of the game in the 81st minute off an assist from freshman Minato Nakayama (Hyogo, Japan). Nakayama played a ball in from the left side of the penalty area to Cyril who headed the ball in to the far post. Sophomore goalkeeper Tinius Klausen (Oslo, Norway) recorded 3 saves in 80 minutes of play. The Generals will host Mercyhurst North East on Sunday at 3:30pm at Wehrum Stadium.
