Herkimer College cancels, postpones upcoming athletic events due to COVID-19

The Herkimer College Athletic Department has made the following changes to its spring sports calendar in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that is currently affecting the United States. The following changes have been made:

• Baseball has cancelled its spring trip to Florida, as well as upcoming games in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. The team is scheduled to start its season on March 28 at Monroe Community College.
• Softball has cancelled its spring trip to South Carolina, as well as upcoming games in New Jersey. The team is scheduled to start its season at the Onondaga Community College Tourney on March 27.
• Lacrosse has cancelled its game at Mercer Community College in New Jersey. The home game against Mercyhurst North Eeast scheduled for March 18 has been postponed to April 15. The team’s first scheduled game is now March 21 vs. Monroe Community College at home.
