Generals Downed By Nationally Ranked Genesee CC

Batavia NY- Coming off a 10 day hiatus, The Herkimer Generals women’s soccer team traveled to regional opponent, #6 Ranked Genesee CC Cougars. The Cougars jumped on the Generals 5-0 going into intermission. The Cougars added 3 goals in the second half so complete the shutout over the Generals with an 8-0 final.

Coach Damon Neish noted, “It was great to play against such a strong team. We had a few injuries that kept us from competing with Genesee, the team in which I feel is the best in our Region. We will regroup and we’ll be ready for our next game”.

The Generals are back in action tomorrow (10/6) as they travel to Watertown NY, to take on Jefferson CC Cannoneers for a 2 o’clock start.
