Herkimer College Hosting Inaugural Esports Invitational

Herkimer College will host its first Esports Invitational Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament on Saturday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Recreation Gym.

The tournament currently consists of 13 high school teams from Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Otsego, and Onondaga Counties. With only a few slots still available, any high school teams still interested in participating should contact Coach Joshua Lanza as soon as possible at lanzajj@herkimer.edu .

Tournament-style rules will apply with each participating school team required to supply at least one complete gameplay setup, including cables, monitors, and a copy of Super Smash Bros Ultimate.  

Trophies and prizes will be awarded, and lunch will be provided. Tours of the new state-of-the-art Esports Center will be available between rounds.
