Herkimer College to Host American Red Cross Blood Drive

Herkimer College is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive Thursday, April 18 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall, located in the Robert McLaughlin College Center.

Donating is a safe process, and healthy individuals should schedule a donation to help maintain the nation’s blood supply; one blood donation can help up to three people in need. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs a blood donation. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. 

Individuals who donate blood platelets or AB Elite plasma during the period of April 8-28 will receive a $10 e-gift card courtesy of the American Red Cross and will be automatically entered to win a $7,000 gift card. There will be two lucky winners.
