Herkimer College to Host Red Cross Blood Drive

Herkimer College will host an American Red Cross blood drive on Thursday, January 30, 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall, located in the Robert McLaughlin College Center.

According to the American Red Cross, donating is a safe process, and healthy individuals should schedule a donation to help maintain the nation’s blood supply; one blood donation can help up to three people in need. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs a blood donation. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation.
