Herkimer College Implements Career Coach
Herkimer County Community College recently implemented Career Coach, a free online tool designed to help individuals identify and explore potential career paths, earning projections, and educational opportunities tailored to their interests.
Powered by Lightcast, a leading provider of labor market analytics, Career Coach connects users with real-time data on in-demand jobs, salary expectations, required skills, and employment trends. This interactive platform allows students, prospective students, and community members to make informed career decisions based on current job market insights.
Upon completing a 30-question career assessment, Career Coach will match the user’s interests and work preferences to careers and provide a pathway to relevant degree programs at Herkimer College, helping users seamlessly connect their career goals with the necessary education.
“Career Coach is a valuable tool for anyone looking to explore career possibilities and make informed decisions about their future,” said Suzanne Paddock, Director of Career Services at Herkimer College.
Career Coach is one of several career exploration tools available through Herkimer College’s Career Services Center.
