Tribunes give Generals fourth consecutive loss

HERKIMER, NY – In a match up with Monroe Community College on Sunday (1/11), the sixth ranked team in DII, the Herkimer Generals women’s basketball lost 102-35.

Herkimer (4-8, 1-4) has now dropped five of their last six games, but got solid contributions from Raven Griffin (Syracuse, NY), Chelsea Jory (Herkimer, NY), Erica Tracy (Cobleskill, NY), Olivia Lazarus (South New Berlin, NY) and Alexandra Hardy (Kerhonkson, NY). Griffin and Jory both led the team with eight each, while Tracy scored six, Lazarus scored five and Hardy scored five.

The Generals continue their home stand this week, playing their next two games against Mountain Valley Conference opponents. On Tuesday (1/13) Herkimer will host SUNY Adirondack, who has lost their last nine games. Each will be looking to get back on track with tip off scheduled for 4 p.m.
