Herkimer College Announces Science Fair Winners
Herkimer College hosted its Jr./Sr. High School Science Fair, sponsored by ICON, on Saturday, February 7 in the Gaynor Science Center. Students in Herkimer County junior and senior high schools and Herkimer County home schooled students were invited to participate. Thirty four students entered from Hight Christian Academy, Little Falls Middle School, Mohawk Valley Christian Academy, Mount Markham, Pathways Academy and West Canada Valley Central School. A total of $1,000 in cash prizes were awarded. Projects were judged by ICON scientists and Herkimer College faculty.
Winners are eligible to go on to the Ying Tri Region Science and Engineering Fair in Syracuse on March 14-15.
