  • Herkimer College to Offer START Day
    Herkimer College will hold a START Day for new on-campus students on Friday, January 18 beginning at noon. The START Day includes student testing, advisement, registration and transition activities.
    All accepted, first time, full-time, on-campus students for the spring 2019 semester, and have not yet registered classes, are encouraged to attend.

    The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, January 16 at 6:00 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 282/283. Per New York State Open Meetings Law, the public may attend the Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees meeting at 16312 Siena Street, Summerdale, Alabama, 36580.
  • Admissions Office Open on Saturday, January 12
    Herkimer College’s Admissions Office will be open on Saturday, January 12 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
  • Herkimer College Human Services Club Winter Necessity Drive a Success
    The Human Services Club at Herkimer College collected gently used winter necessities in donation boxes on campus. The items were donated to children in need within Herkimer County through Catholic Charities.
  • Human Services Club at Herkimer College Performs Holiday Concert for Nursing Home Residents
    The Human Services Club at Herkimer College performed a holiday concert for the residents of The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home at Mohawk Valley in Ilion on Wednesday, December 12th. Included in the concert were performances by students Matthew Aceto of Deerfield and Julia Grippe of Sauquoit, majoring in Music Industry at Herkimer College. Club members presented residents with bells and ornaments which they adorned with special quotes. Club advisor Grace Ashline said, "It was pretty impactful and powerful. Julia and Matt sang beautifully. The jingle bells with quotes and donated ornaments brought residents and staff to tears. It was pretty humbling and an event I am very proud of the Human Services club for identifying, coordinating and pulling off."
  • Robert H. Wood Great Artists Series Presents a Free Performance by The Hot Club of San Francisco
    The Robert H. Wood Great Artists Series will present Hot Club Cool Yule on Friday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m. in Herkimer College’s Sarkus-Busch Theater. The performance is open to the public and free of charge.
