    Two Herkimer College students received recognition from the Community College Humanities Association (CCHA) for their contributions to the 2018 issue of the college’s arts and literary publication Phaethon.
    Theodore J. Cook of the Mohawk Correctional Campus won first place for his original script, “The Other Side of the Curtain.” GuiHua Gan, an international student from China, won third place in the artwork category for her ceramic sculpture “Longping.”

    Herkimer College will be hosting John Zaffis: Godfather of all Ghost Hunters on Wednesday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 288. This event will be open to the public free of charge.

    Herkimer County Community College will offer an online Winter Mini Session from Wednesday, January 2, 2019 through Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
  • Herkimer County Arts and Crafts Fair
    The 42nd Herkimer County Arts and Crafts Fair will take place Saturday, November 10, 2018 and Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Herkimer County Community College. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. This long-established fine arts and crafts fair, presented by the Herkimer County College Foundation, is one of the largest and well-respected in New York State. With more than 120 vendors expected, the juried show features top artisans showcasing their works including pottery, gourmet foods, wood working, textiles, weaving, oil painting, soaps, jewelry and more. Pride of New York producers and select New York State wineries will also be showcasing their products during this two-day event.
