  • Human Services Advisory Committee
    The Human Services Advisory Committee at HCCC, led by instructor of human services Grace Ashine, is made up of professionals within the human services sector who are working to bridge a gap of collaboration with regard to pertinent topics impacting students, individuals, families and community members they seek to serve. The committee has worked to provide instrumental feedback in what they observe students needing to help increase their employability which also strengthens necessary curriculum updates within the human services program at HCCC. Some of these changes include updates to the course curriculum, textbooks, handbook and the recent development of an innovative Trauma Informed Care course developed by Ashline for pilot in the fall of 2018.
  • Full Tuition Scholarship Available
    The Herkimer County College Foundation is accepting applicants for a full-tuition scholarship in the amount of $4,470, for the first year of study at HCCC, being made possible through the Thomas J. and Joann L. Casale Family Scholarship Fund at HCCC. It is available to a 2018 graduating senior from Herkimer High School who must be planning to enroll at HCCC full-time in the fall 2018 semester.
  • HCCC to Hold Express Enrollment Day
    HCCC will hold an Express Enrollment Day on Wednesday, June 27 for prospective students interested in enrolling for the fall 2018 semester.
  • Generals Open Golf Tournament
    The Herkimer County College Foundation’s 26th annual Generals Open Golf Tournament was held Monday, June 11, 2018 at Stonebridge Golf & Country Club in New Hartford.
  • HCCC Establishes New Transfer Agreement with SUNY University at Buffalo
    Herkimer County Community College recently entered into a new articulation agreement with SUNY University at Buffalo. The agreement creates a seamless transfer into Buffalo’s Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree program for HCCC students who complete the Liberal Arts and Sciences: Science (AS) degree program.
  • HCCC and Town of Webb School Conducting Community Needs Survey
    Herkimer County Community College and the Town of Webb Union Free School District are partnering to assess community needs and demand for higher education programs, training and services in the Old Forge area.
