  Herkimer College to Offer Information Session for Students Displaced from ITT Technical Institute

  In response to the recent closing of ITT Technical Institute, with some 130 campuses and 40,000 students, Herkimer County Community College will offer a Columbus Day information session on Monday, October 10 from 9 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn about the degree programs available, including a new accelerated degree path and credit for experiential learning.

  Herkimer College to Hold Transfer College Fair

  College representatives from over 65 four-year colleges and universities will participate in Herkimer College’s Transfer College Fair on Tuesday, October 11 from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Robert McLaughlin College Center. Representatives will provide information about their colleges and answer transfer-related questions.

  Fireworks Display to Kick off Fall Fest & Alumni Weekend and Celebrate 50th Anniversary of Herkimer College

  Herkimer College will kick off its annual Fall Fest & Alumni Weekend on Friday, September 30th. In recognition of the College’s 50th anniversary, there will be several new and enhanced activities this year including a fireworks display on Friday at 9 p.m.

  In recognition and celebration of Herkimer College’s 50th anniversary, a special faculty art exhibit will be on display in the Cogar Gallery Friday, September 30 through Monday, November 7. An opening reception will take place on Saturday, October 1 from 4-6 pm.
