    Herkimer County Community College honored 23 students in May for their selection to Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges, an award which recognizes outstanding scholastic, leadership and community accomplishments.
  • Herkimer County Community College Trustee Appointment
    Alison Eyre Albright, of Old Forge, New York, has been appointed by the Herkimer County Legislature to the Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees for a term to expire on June 30, 2023. She will fill the seat formerly held by Robert Brenchley, whose term expired on June 30, 2016 after serving on the Board for five years.
  • Cogar Gallery to Feature Sacred Images: Icons From Holy Trinity Monastery
    Herkimer College’s Cogar Gallery will showcase over 50 Russian Orthodox icons and religious objects from the collection of the Foundation of Russian History and Jordanville Holy Trinity Monastery from Friday, August 12 to Friday, September 23. A closing reception will be held Friday, September 23 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

    HERKIMER, NY – Herkimer County Community College’s Internet Academy is the recipient of the 2016 Institutional Achievement Award presented by the National University Technology Network (NUTN). The award recognizes effective use of technology in teaching and learning and/or organizational administration that is exemplary, demonstrating leadership and commitment, but also advancing the field as an institutional model.
  • Two Herkimer College Faculty Granted Emeritus Status
    The Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees recently approved emeritus status for two retired faculty members, Lorraine Siniscarco, of Utica, and Mary Greene, of Herkimer.
