Herkimer College to Conduct Emergency Siren TestingHerkimer County Community College will conduct a test of its campus emergency siren system on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at approximately 12:30 p.m. The siren may be heard throughout the valley area. Local residents should not be alarmed by the warning signal on that date, as it is a test only. The NY Alert notification system, which sends notices to subscribers via email, fax, phone and text message, will also be tested during this time.
