Dobinson and Butler Score Two Goals Each to Lead the Generals to a 9-0 Victory

Queensbury, NY – Freshman Tyler Dobinson (Exeter, England) and Randolph Butler (New Hartford, NY) scored two goals each to lead the Generals to a 9-0 win over SUNY Adirondack. Dobinson opened the scoring in the 4th minute of an assist from freshman David Ramjee (Cambridge, England).  Sophomore Luke Murphy (Glasgow, Scotland) scored the second goal of the game in the 16th minute off an assist from sophomore Gus Ward (London, England).  Ward recorded the third goal of the game in the 23rd minute off an assist from freshman Shane Hennessy (Yonkers, NY).  Dobinson scored his second goal of the game in the 32nd minute off an assist from freshman Marius Svendsen (Drammew, Norway).  Butler scored the fifth and sixth goal of the game in the 33rd minute and 35thminute.  Butler scored his first goal on a breakaway from a pass from freshman Abelardo Mendoza (Bridgeport, CT).  Butler’s second goal was he was taken down in the penalty area where he converted the penalty kick.  Sophomore Walter Medina (Brooklyn, NY) scored the seventh goal of the game in the 62nd minute on an assist from Hennessy.  Freshman Brady Wheelock (West Winfield, NY) scored his first goal of the season in the 65 minute on an assist from sophomore Gianni Cognata (Cape Coral, Florida).  Sophomore Jared Brooks (Ithaca, NY) finished out the scoring in the 79th minute off an assist from sophomore Meysar Abdulkadir (Hartford, Connecticut).

Sophomore goalkeeper Roandre Wollery (Hartford, Connecticut) has yet to concede a goal in Herkimer’s first six games.  He recorded three saves in forty-five minutes of play.  Sophomore Liam Mullings (London, England) recorded two saves in the second half.  The Generals return back home to play Fulton Montgomery CC on Saturday.  Kick-off is at 4:00pm at Wehrum Stadium.
