Herkimer Bowling hosts Mountain Valley Conference Match

Ilion, NY -  Strong performances by Tilani O' Neil (Queens, NY) and Andrew Celio (Little Falls, NY) paced the Herkimer Generals Men's and Women's Bowling teams as they hosted a Mountain Valley Conference match on Friday, Feb 1 at the State Bowling Center in Ilion, NY. The women's team finished third on the day while the men finished 4th.

O'Neil led the way for the women with a high game of 224, which led to a 547 series. Katherine Vartanian (Cortland, NY) had the highest series for the women as she bowled a 568, which was highlighted by a high game of 209

For the men. Andrew Celio had both the highest game of the day for Herkimer, bowling a 244 frame that led to a 664 series. Jon Wilkes (Auburn, NY) was right behind as he bowled a 652 series that was paced by a high game of 233. Kyle Celio (Little Falls, NY) also had a impressive day with a 594 series hat included a 222 high game.

The Generals get right back at it this weekend as they travel to Schenectady, NY on Saturday and Sunday, Feb 2 and 3 to take part in the Schenectady Bowling Tournaments. Start times on both days is 9:00 AM.
