Herkimer Women get win vs Clinton, 61-42

Herkimer, NY - Herkimer used full court man pressure to start the game with a 20-4 run and cruised to a 61-42 home win vs Clinton Community College on Saturday afternoon in Herkimer, NY. The win gives the Generals a 2-3 record in Mountain Valley Conference play and a 4-11 record overall on the season.

Markia Peak (Rochester, NY) led four Generals in double figures with 16 points on the day, which included 2 3-pointers. Lexi Debeatham (Albany, NY), Clinique Robinson ( Catskill, NY), and Brittani Campbell (Rochester, NY) each tallied 10 points apiece in the win. Debeatham's total included 2 3-pointers,one of which was in the 4th quarter as Clinton was beginning to close the gap. 

The Generals now prepare for a road matchup at Fulton-Montgomery CC on Wednesday Feb 6. The game in Johnstown, NY will tip off at 5:00 PM.
