Herkimer Bowling competes in final conference match of season at Hudson Valley

Troy, NY - The Herkimer Men's and Women's Bowling teams each played their final regular season matches on Friday at Hudson Valley Community College. Both teams had solid showings and both finished in third place in their respective divisions. The men finished the season in 4th in the conference and the women finished in 3rd.

Herkimer top scorers on the men side were Kyle Celio (Little Falls, NY) with a 205 game and a 611 series, and Zach Jenkins (Endicott, NY) with a 237 game and a 609 series. For the conference season, Herkimer had two men finish in the top 20 standings, with Andrew Celio (Little Falls, NY) finishing 18th and Ryan Fischer (Ilion, NY) grabbing the 20th spot.

 For the women, our top scorers on the day were Sierra Powers (Newark, NY) with a 257 game and a series of 562, and Tilani O’Neal (Queens, NY) with a 227 game and a series of 588. O'Neil also earned a spot on the 2019 All Conference Team, finishing 6th overall for the year. Powers finished the season in 10th place. 

Herkimer now looks toward the Region III Championships, which will be held on Sunday, February 17th at Pin-O-Rama in Utica, NY and hosted by Mohawk Valley Community College.
