Men's Bowling finishes 3rd, Women 4th at Schenectady Invitational
Schenectady, NY -It was a busy weekend for the Herkimer Generals Bowling teams as they followed up a conference match at MVCC on Friday with two days of tournaments at Schenectady Community College.
On Saturday, the men’s and women’s bowling teams took part in the Boulevard Bowl Classic at SCCC. The men finished in 11th and the women finished in 6th. For the women, Taylor Listovitch (Ilion, NY) rolled a 233 game which awarded her with High Game of the tournament, she also finished with a series of 774 which was good enough for 19th overall. Sierra Powers (Newark, NY) finished in 17th in All-Events with a 783 total series. On the men’s side, David Cook (Little Falls, NY) was the high finisher in All Events finishing 27th with a 958 series. Kyle Celio (Little Falls, NY) finished in 29th with a 943 series.
On Sunday, the men’s and women’s bowling teams both bowled in the Schenectady Invitational. The men finished in 3rd place and our women finished in 4th. On the women’s side, Sierra Powers was the high finisher with a 828 series, good enough for 10th in All Events. Madeline Collier (Vestal, NY) finished in 12th and Taylor Listovitch finished in 14th. On the men’s side, David Cook finished 7th in All Events with a 1030 series. Kyle Celio finished in 14th and Andrew Celio (Little Falls, NY) finished in 19th.
The Generals next match will be on 2/11 at Adirondack Community College.
