Former Generals Soccer Keeper in Canadian Premier League Finals
Charlottetown, Canada – Former Herkimer all-American goalkeeper Triston Henry will be playing in the Canadian Premier League final for the second year in a row. Henry and his Forge FC teammates will be looking to defend their title against HFX Wanderers on Saturday, September 19th at 2:00pm. The winner will be awarded the North Star Shield and a berth in the 2021 CONCACAF league.
Henry, a 6’2, 170-pound native of Scarborough, Ontario won back to back national championships with the Generals in 2012 and 2013. Henry was a two time NSCAA all-American recording 29 shutouts in his two seasons. He spent one season at the University of Connecticut in 2014 before transferring to NCAA Division I Quinnipiac University appearing in 18 games and registering 65 saves with a 1.27 GAA.
