Herkimer College to Host NJCAA Men’s Basketball National Championships and NJCAA Division III Softball World Series
The NJCAA has announced that Herkimer College will serve as the host for the NJCAA Division III Softball World Series and Men’s Basketball Championships in the upcoming years.
Carrier Park in Dewitt, NY will be the location for the NJCAA Division III Softball World Series for the next four seasons, beginning in 2025. The NJCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship will be held at Herkimer College’s varsity gymnasium in 2025, 2026 and 2028.
The dates for the Softball World Series tournaments include May 21-24, 2025; May 20-23, 2026; May 26-29, 2027; and May 24-27, 2028. This marks a continuation of Herkimer’s tradition in providing a first-rate venue for top-level competition, with the support of a dedicated community.

Herkimer College will welcome the national basketball championships to campus March 12-15, 2025; March 11-14, 2026; and March 8-11, 2028. In 2027, the tournament will take place in Rochester, MN, at the Regional Sports Center from March 10-13.

Herkimer College previously hosted the Division III Men’s Basketball Championships in 2023 and 2024 and has a long-standing reputation in organizing successful NJCAA events, including soccer, lacrosse, and softball championships. This recognition from the NJCAA reinforces Herkimer’s position as a leader in hosting collegiate sporting events.
