Herkimer Bowlers open conference play at Schenectady

Schenectady, NY - The Herkimer Men's and Women's Bowling team both finished strong in their first conference match of the season at Schenectady CC. The men finished in 1st in block one while the women finished in 2nd in the first block. Willy Oppermann (Oneida, NY) was the high male performer in block one with a 253 game and a 632 series. Madeline Collier (Vestal, NY) was the top female performer with a 216 high game and a 592 series.

Block 2 went well for both groups as well. Both the men and women finished in 2nd place. Tim Cloonan (Clay, NY) was the high male performer with a 224 game and a 622 series. Sierra Powers (Newark, NY)  was the high female performer with a 191 high game and a 480 series.

The bowlers have a week off until their next match on January 31st at MVCC at 1:00 PM. The match will take place at Pin-O-Rama in Utica.
