Incoming Freshman Scholarships

To be awarded to incoming freshman, enrolled to begin classes on-campus, full-time at Herkimer College for the fall 2026 semester.  

Albert J. & Rita E. Eichholzer Scholarship 1 @ $250
           RTV major; minimum 2.50 GPA; Financial need

Joan Johnston Memorial Scholarship 1 @ $300
            Communication major; minimum 3.0 GPA; Financial need

Kaiser Family Scholarship 1 @ $500
            Enrolled Full-time in a Business Administration curriculum; preference to a student who plans to seek Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration

Nicholas Paslow Memorial Scholarship 1 @ $250
            Graduate of the Herkimer County BOCES Career/Tech Ed program; Financial need; Academic promise

HCC Foundation Scholarships 2 @ $250
            One to a student interested in Athletics 
            One to a student based on Academic Excellence
           
Gaynor Memorial Scholarships 1 @ $1,500 & 1 @ $1,000
            One to a Graduating Cooperstown High School senior who is a resident of Otsego County
            One to a Graduating Cooperstown High School senior who is a resident of Otsego County and was enrolled in the HCCC College Now Program during their senior year. 

Williams Family Scholarship 1 @ $500
            Accounting curriculum

Cosentino Scholarships 2 @ $500
            To Mount Markham graduates, academic excellence, financial need considered but not required

Hope Scholarships 20 @ $500 from General’s Campaign
            For Herkimer County student graduates in the 80+ GPA (2 from each Herk County School) If live in HC but go to non-HC school eligible.

Foundation Tuition Scholarships from Unrestricted funds
            Graduating Herkimer County students from a HC school in the top 15%, non HC school top 10%
