Generals Win on the Road 4-3
Corning, NY – Generals sophomore Walter Medina (Brooklyn, NY) scored the first goal of the game in the 16th minute off an assist from sophomore Jared Brooks (Ithaca, NY). Freshman Randolph Butler (New Hartford, NY) scored in the 22nd minute off an assist from freshman Kervens Jean-Charles. Cornings Mbemba Sano scored the Barons first goal in the 52nd minute. Cheick Coulibaly tied the game at 2-2 in the 54th minute. Sophomore Luke Murphy (Glasgow, Scotland) scored in the 58th minute off an assist from freshman David Ramjee (Cambridge, England). The Barons Coulibaly tied the game with his second goal in 74th minute. Muphy scored the game winner in the 83rd minute on a penalty kick. Freshman Marius Svendsen (Drammew, Norway) was taken down inside the penalty area for the penalty kick.
Sophomore Roandre Wollery (Hartford, Conn) conceded one goal in 60 minutes of action. Sophomore Liam Mullings (London, England) conceded two goals 30 minutes of play. The Generals are back on the road for their next macth on 9/27, where they take on Hudson Valley CC. Kick-off is at 6:00pm.
