Lomanto scores 27 in loss to North Country 80-68

Herkimer, N.Y. - Maria Lomanto (Amsterdam, NY) was on fire against North Country.  Unfortunately, the Generals lead and Lomanto's effort would eventually be squandered away to North Country in the second half.  Lomanto's 27 points were not enough as the Herkimer Generals fell victim to North Country CC 80-68.  Lomanto would go 8-11 from 3-pt range.  Her other three points came via free throws.  Guards Sierra Henry (Newfield, NY) and Nylasia Sutton (Troy, NY) were Herkimer's other bright spots in the game.  Henry scored 14 points and Sutton, 15.  

Herkimer goes on the road to Hudson Valley 1/27 for the next match up.  Game time is expected to start at 3 pm.
