First year head coach Matt Hazzard said, “I’m really proud of our team. It was a great game to end our season. We battled with one of the top teams in the country and had them on the ropes. This year was a growing experience for all of us and I feel so strong about where this program is heading. We won the conference championship for the first time in 24 years, how can we be upset about that?”

Onondaga went on to win the Region III title, downing the North Country Saints 57-45. The Generals finish the season 18-8 and will return four starters of the five starters for 2022-2023 season.
