Urie and Cyril lead Herkimer Men's Soccer to win over Clinton

Herkimer, NY - Freshmen Riley Urie (West Glover, VT) and Jaahdel Cyril (Bridgeport, CT) scored three goals each as the Herkimer Men's Soccer team defeated the Clinton Community College Cougars by a score of 10-0 on Sunday afternoon at Wehrum Stadium. The Generals, the # 3 ranked team in the nation according to the latest NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer Poll, moved to 7-0 on the season with a record of 3-0 in the Mountain Valley Conference.

Tokiwa Yoshida (Hiroshima, Japan) scored the first goal of the match and added two assists on the afternoon. Sena Shintate (Kyoto, Japan), Kimani Clarke (East Hampton, NY), and Giovanni Dagraca (Bridgeport, CT) each added one goal for the Generals total of 10. Herkimer has outscored it's first seven opponents this year by a score of 49-1. 

The Generals play again on Wednesday night as they host the undefeated Cayuga Community College Spartans, who will come in to the game with a record of 4-0.  Herkimer will be looking for a bit of revenge as the Spartans came into Wehrum Stadium last year and beat the Generals by a score of 3-2. Game time Wednesday night is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
