Generals Dominate Hawks in 81-37 Win

Herkimer NY- The Herkimer Generals women's basketball team hosted Mohawk Valley CC in there second matchup of the season. The Generals jumped out ahead from the tip-off and never looked back. The Generals dominated both sides of the ball all night, racking up 20 steals on the night en-route to 23 transition points. In addition, Herkimer went 74 percent from the free throw line compared to the Hawks 31 percent. 

The Generals were led by Kapri Bradshaw(Uniondale, NY), Jenna Faulkner(Otego, NY) and Taya Yacobucci (Canajoharie, NY). Bradshaw had 29 points, 9 rebounds, 8 steals and 6 assists. Faulkner had 19 points, 16 rebounds, 8 blocks and 4 steals. Yacobucci went for 7 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals. 

The Generals move to 12-4 and are back in action Saturday (1/29) when they travel to Troy to take on Hudson Valley CC for a Conference and Regional matchup.
